Special Events & WorkshopsSpecial Saturday Workshop When: Saturday, September 11th,1:30pm - 3:30pm Where: Silverdale Why: As yoga has become more and more mainstream in the U.S., the focus has become more centered on the Asana/Poses. However, in traditional yogic theory, the postures are not intended to be an end unto themselves. Instead, the central purpose of one’s yoga practice is to increase self-awareness. Consequently, the yoga postures are a critical means to a very important end: meditation. In this workshop, students will learn how to channel the power of Asana/Poses towards a meditative purpose. Teacher: Cynthia Land, LMP, RYT Cost: $25 Send mail to cynthia@expansionsyoga.com with questions or comments
